Rim Drive Technology
POD motors
Rim Drive positions the POD range as an alternative to classic inboard propulsion: compact, low-maintenance, salt-water-resistant and fast to install. The range extends from POD 0.5 to POD 75.0, with controller support on the lower and mid-range models and static thrust reaching up to 850 kgf on the 75.0 model.

Steerable PODs
This family includes Entry Level Steerable POD and full Steerable POD solutions. The steerable range focuses on maneuverability, joystick, steering wheel or CAN control, and confident low-speed handling. Power runs from 2.5kW to 75kW, with static thrust up to 850 kgf on the 75.0 version.

Outboard systems
This family includes Entry Level Outboard and Steerable Outboard solutions. Entry Level models are positioned as an affordable system with integrated trim and tilt options, while the Steerable Outboard focuses on zero-turn steering with 320-degree rotation and 360-degree propulsion.

Thrusters
Rim Drive offers three bow-thruster configurations: Standard Thruster, Thruster Tunnel Set and Bow Thruster Box. The Standard Thruster is extremely compact and also available as a stern thruster. The tunnel set is a robust stainless-steel solution, while the thruster box is designed around easier motor access and multiple material options.

Complete electric system
The complete system range also includes 48V battery packs, chargers, throttle controls, smart steering and dynamic positioning solutions, plus marine displays with WiFi and GPS. This makes the Rim Drive offer more complete for projects that need a coherent electric system rather than a single drive unit.
